Geelong Golf Club Named as a Finalist at the 2025 Victorian Golf Industry Awards
Geelong Golf Club has been named as a finalist at the prestigious 2025 Victorian Golf Industry Awards, to be held at Southern Golf Club on October 16th.
Most Outstanding Club, Facility or Place to Play – Regional
Geelong Golf Club’s nomination reflects its commitment to inclusion, innovation and community engagement. The club is a signatory of the R&A Women in Golf Charter, offered vision-impaired clinics in collaboration with Blind Golf Victoria and offers junior scholarships through the Belgravia Foundation.
In addition to programming, Geelong’s Lifestyle Access Pass and Ace Society Cameras have modernised the golf experience, while partnerships with local schools and influencers have expanded its reach.
Venue Manager Paul Christie reflected on his club’s nomination “Being named a finalist is a proud moment for our team and a reflection of the inclusive, community-first culture we’ve built at Geelong Golf Club. Our mission has always been to make Geelong the most accessible golf destination in the Bellarine region, whether it’s through our junior scholarships, all abilities clinics, or flexible access programs. We’re committed to breaking down barriers and welcoming everyone to the game.”
